The longest beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island at Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
A magical white desert in winter, where a few brave walkers and surfers wander, a long stretch of warm sand in summer, overrun by families and kayaks, Long Beach is the longest beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island. 11 km of white sandy beach littered with logs and shells, at the foot of a dense forest with small hiking trails, and the snow-capped Mackenzie Mountains. At sunset, locals and tourists gather around improvised campfires.
