This short hike, barely half an hour's walk, tells the story of a spruce tree that had "come back to life" after a lumberjack felled it in 1997. The tree had left some essential seeds which, confirming the belief of the Haida Native people, led to the appearance of a new small spruce tree, which is now being replanted and maintained at the Millennium Memorial Park in Port Clements. This beautiful and easy hike, in addition to being instructive, is ideal if you want to be in the midst of lush greenery.
