This magnificent theatre, built in 1927, is home to performances by the Metropolitan Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and is almost entirely dedicated to music. The Orpheum is the largest Vaudeville theatre still standing in town today. Go for it, if only for the beauty of its rococo and Spanish Baroque style room, a style that was very fashionable in the 1920s. It is also possible, for those who just want to soak up the place, to visit the theatre without having to attend a performance.
