A remarkable building, half ship, half meccano, housing various attractions and a cinema in Vancouver.

This building, half ship, half meccano, has become an emblematic landmark since the 1986 International Exposition in Vancouver: 5 large sails hoisted high with 10 points representing the 10 provinces of Canada. Canada Place is home to, among other attractions, the IMAX Fly Over Canada theatre. The big liners leaving for Alaska cast off here. This is also where most of the 2010 Olympic ceremonies were held. From the platform, enjoy the view and take time to read the surrounding signs.
