GATE BRIDGE LIONS
Bridge with majestic lions, one of the only ways to reach North Vancouver from downtown.
At the very end of the Stanley Park Peninsula, two majestic lions frame the suspension bridge over the Burrard Inlet. It is one of the only ways to reach North Vancouver from downtown, with the Seabus ferry. Its name refers to the two summits close to the North Shore Mountains (in Cypress Provincial Park) that can be seen from the bridge. It is possible to cross the bridge on foot by a pedestrian crossing on both sides of the bridge in about ten minutes. Beautiful pictures in perspective!
