City of Vancouver Science Museum in a remarkable geodesic dome.
This geodesic dome (i.e., in the shape of a lattice sphere) has become one of Vancouver's emblems since its creation for Expo 86. Transformed into a city science museum following a major fundraising campaign, children will have fun both indoors and outdoors and, in addition, they will see illustrations of some of the main physical principles (light, sound, etc.). The OMNIMAX cinema will show life in 360° on the largest dome screen in the world. Be sure to visit it in the evening when the LEDs illuminate it.
