UBC BOTANICAL GARDEN
Botanical park offering an informative walk through Vancouver, a life-size encyclopedia of the world's flora.
Created in 1916, the park covers 44 hectares and is home to many plant species. A life-size encyclopedia of the world's flora, the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden offers an informative walk. You can learn as much about exotic plants as you can about vegetable plants. It is now possible to walk along a long Indiana Jones-style suspension bridge route and criss-cross the forest from the treetops. The Greenheart TreeWalk is comparable to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver.
