CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE PARK
A park with a remarkable bridge and various attractions in North Vancouver, a discovery ground for everyone.
On the way to Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of Vancouver's most popular experiences. The park is home to a variety of attractions and explanations of biodiversity, making it a place of discovery for everyone.
Capilano Suspension Bridge. Built in 1889, this 150-meter long suspension bridge, 70 meters above the ground, allows you to cross the river. This bridge is the starting point for many hiking trails that lead to observation points and sites of interest such as a bald eagle refuge.
Canopy Walk. The Canopy Walk with its 7 suspended walkways offers a spectacular view of over 100 meters above the forest.
The Cliffwalk follows a granite precipice along the Capilano River with a labyrinthine series of bridges, stairs and narrow platforms with only 16 anchor points in the cliff supporting the structure! Be careful if you are afraid of heights! On the other hand, thrill seekers will be delighted.
The Treetop Adventure takes you above trees that are over 1,300 years old. You'll be walking above a majestic and impressively large landscape. You will probably feel very small because here nature is king.
Kia'palano. The site has the largest private collection of totem poles in North America and, during the summer, you can see First Nations artists carving wood in person.
