A 762 m high granite monolith in Squamish with over 1,000 different routes to its peaks.
762 metres high, the Chief is a granite monolith over 100 million years old. Its cracks and other fractures make it a perfect environment for climbers as it offers more than 1,000 different routes to reach its summits, whether free or assisted climbing. Local climbers worship and respect it like a god. It is possible to hike the trails and climb the three peaks of the mountain.
