BLACKCOMB PEAK
A popular ski mountain with a hiking trail in Whistler Valley linking to the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.
Widely publicized during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games, Blackcomb Peak is a ski mountain in the Whistler Valley. It is located at the northwestern boundary of Garibaldi Provincial Park, like Whistler Mountain, but rises above it by more than 300 metres (2,436 metres). It is connected to Whistler Mountain by the Peak 2 Peak Gondola cable car. Highly coveted for skiing, this mountain is a paradise for snow sports enthusiasts! A 9-kilometre hiking trail remains little frequented, offering beautiful panoramic views.
