Situated in the heart of the historic centre of Powell River, this friendly hotel, formerly a courthouse and then a police station, now offers comfortable and original rooms in a very antique style. They are bright too, with high ceilings and multiple windows overlooking the park. The corridors and rooms are decorated with antique objects, old books, old photographs and dolls of yesteryear. A hearty breakfast is included (at Edie Rae's Cafe) and the staff is very welcoming.
