Kelowna has a lot to offer and the city's Visitor Centre will give you plenty of advice on what to do on site. Kelowna's main shopping street is Bernard Street. City Park offers almost a kilometre of white sandy beach. At the entrance to the park, you are greeted by Ogopogo, the replica of a snake that, according to legend, lives in Okanagan Lake (a local loch Ness).
