OKANAGAN HERITAGE MUSEUM
A museum that exhibits recent and primarily 19th and 20th century artifacts in Kelowna.
Like the city, the objects on display are recent and date mainly from the 19th and 20th centuries. However, in another part of the museum, four galleries bring together remains from all five continents. Another section of the museum is dedicated to miniature toys. This museum teaches you the history of the Kelowna area, from its first inhabitants (the Syilx) to the arrival of the conquistadors on the territory. The reconstructions of period houses and stuffed animals give us a lot of information about the identity of this region.
