KALAMALKA LAKE
Numerous picnic spots to refuel, at the lake of a thousand colors in Vernon.
Park at the lake parking lot and spend the day on Kal Beach where you will find many picnic spots to refuel. Nicknamed the lake of a thousand colours, the clear water turns emerald green or turquoise (depending on the weather), and the water is warm in summer, allowing visitors to swim in it. Numerous activities are available on site: horseback riding, climbing, fishing, water skiing, canoeing, kayaking and boating, etc. This lake, at an altitude of 395 metres, is part of the provincial park of the same name.
