The Brickhouse Kitchen & bar is a trendy downtown address serving a variety of market cuisine with a maximum of local ingredients. Appetites large and small won't be disappointed, and the dishes on the slate are far more interesting than those on the à la carte menu. We also like the lounge on the2nd floor , dedicated to Marc Gallant, artist, author and environmental activist who lived in the house in the 1980s. This lounge opens at 5 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday.
