CABOT BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK
Largest park on the West Island with a playground, children's activity program and supervised beach.
The largest park on the West Island, it offers a full playground, children's activity programs and a supervised beach in Malpeque Bay. Also on the site is the Fanning School, which can be visited daily in season. Built in 1794, it was named in honor of Edmund Fanning, the island's lieutenant governor between 1786 and 1805. It was taught there until 1969, and in 1993 it was moved to Cabot Beach where it was restored.
