Historic site located in the quiet neighbourhood of Saint-Vital, where you can learn more about the life of Louis Riel.
Family home of Louis Riel, the great Métis leader who is also considered the "Father of Manitoba". He led, with others, the rebellions in Manitoba to claim Métis land rights. His grave is located in the cemetery of the St. Boniface Cathedral ruins. It is also an opportunity to learn about the daily life of the Métis community during the tumultuous period of history that gave birth to the province of Manitoba.
