A few kilometres north of Brandon, Riverbank Discovery Centre is the starting point for a vast network of hiking trails. A fitness trail (in 10 stations) to build muscle and work on your abs has been installed. Maps to follow one of the self-guided routes are available, as well as (well done) brochures on local flora and fauna. The centre also organizes nature outings for children and small groups. Very popular with families, this immense green playground, located on the banks of the Assiniboine River, is the subject of a vast development program designed to preserve and celebrate the history of its natural space.
