MARY'S POINT
A natural site in southern New Brunswick, classified Nationale National Wildlife Reserve by Environment Canada and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. An exceptional shoreline where birds migrating from the Arctic stop for several weeks. Mary's Point is a step for them to take up forces before continuing this long road towards South America. Between the end of July and mid-August, it is possible to see more than 300 000 semi-palmés sandpipers (95% of the world population) and other species feeding shrimp and small crustaceans. Flights of these squadrons over the water of the bay are still spectacular.
