Economy Shoe Shop has been a Halifax classic for over 25 years! Part bar, part restaurant, part entertainment venue, with a wacky name and a vintage neon sign to match, it attracts the city's young hipsters and visitors alike. The interior is a real labyrinth with distinct rooms and bars, all connected. The atmosphere is very nice and makes you want to come back. The Basement hosts a program of musical, comedy, improvisation and other shows.
