HALIBURTON HOUSE MUSEUM
Built in wood in 1833 (completed in 1837) and dubbed Clifton House, it houses magnificent Victorian furniture at the time. She was the residence of Thomas Chandler Haliburton (1796-1865), a Canadian politician, lawyer, judge, historian and successful author (creator of Sam Tide's character). Left to the end of the 1930 s, it was recovered by the provincial government, which made it a museum and historic place. Special activities are organized during the season, such as the celebration of Canada Day days, and the murder and mystery evening. Take the time to walk through the trails that travel the large property.
