Renovated museum in Lunenburg with exhibitions and interactive experiences with heritage guides.
This museum will immerse you in the maritime life of this region of the Atlantic coast. Rum smuggling, fishing, the terrible August storms and whales are just some of the subjects covered through exhibits and interactive experiences. One room is entirely dedicated to model ships (3rd floor). Don't miss a visit to the fishing boat Theresa E. Connor, in use from 1938 to 1966 (many explanations will be given on site).
