CAPE FORCHU LIGHTSTATION
Lighthouse in Yarmouth worth a visit during the summer season, museum retracing its history in the keeper's house.
An emblem of the region and one of the most photographed in the province (magnificent by day and night), the Cape Forchu lighthouse can be visited in fine weather. The keeper's house houses a museum retracing the history of the lighthouse and the cape. Since 2021, a must-see experience is the lantern room at the top of the lighthouse, from which you can see Yarmouth Harbour. And while you're in Cape Forchu, take a short hike along the trails of Leif Erikson Park, with its many lookouts.
