The AFN offers many services to francophones and francophiles, including the CFRT radio station, Le Nunavoix newspaper, and the Franco-Center with a scene for hosting different socio-cultural events. Several traditional festivals are also organized every year, such as the sugar hut, lobster dinner, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Festival and Rendez-vous de la Francophonie. In addition to the gathering and cultural role, this association has a mandate for the francophone community of Nunavut.
