Very quiet inn with a breathtaking view of the river at Metis-sur-Mer, featuring a restaurant and cosy terrace.

Very quiet inn, with a breathtaking view of the river and its superb sunsets. Literary aficionados will appreciate the emphasis on books and access to a large library. The restaurant serves breakfast in the morning and refined cuisine in the evening, highlighting the terroir of the Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie regions (open to all). We'd also like to mention the ultra-cosy new terrace, where you can sip a drink at the end of the day and enjoy the good life. Note that most rooms are rented on a half-board, double-occupancy basis.

Food is superb. Service friendly and efficient.
Location and views cannot be beat.
Not a full 5 stars because of the very, very thin walls in the room. One can hear absolutely everything in the rooms next door.

Location exceptionnelle: ´sur’ le fleuve et à deux pas des Jardins de Métis. Excellente bouffe: soupers créatifs et succulents. Très bon service. Séjour de 3 jours. Nous y retournerons.

this inn really rained us. Marie, the owner, receives simply but very warmly travellers (some advice for the suite of your trip, books galore on the tables in the rooms and lounge). A real delight of simplicity and cleanliness, in a pleasant setting and a chef first class for meals, served with class and smiling.
