Inn and resort offering nice rooms and gourmet food in Notre-Dame-du-Portage.
Built at the beginning of the last century, its vocation as an inn and resort was confirmed in the 1930s, with the arrival of wealthy tourists attracted by the region's sea baths. On site, in addition to its lovely rooms and gourmet dining, you'll enjoy the following services: Spa health center, workshops (yoga, Tai Chi, aquafitness, etc.), heated saltwater pool and outdoor hot tub, beach access, hammam, walking trail, bicycles, sea kayaks, tennis court and more.

Excellent rapport qualité prix.
Coucher de soleil incroyable.
Repas Excellent. Excellent service. Je recommande !
At 10pm after having my late supper I decided it was time for bed as I wanted to hit the road again in the morning. I arrived in my room and wondered what the noise was. I called the reception to be told it was the kitchen's fan and that normally it would shut off around 11pm. Sure enough I look out the window and there it was just outside my window. So much for opening my windows or going to sleep at 10pm. I lay down and struggle to sleep and I guess my exhaustion was sufficient to overcome the noise.
I spent the night with the windows closed, but I am woken at 6am again with that same noise because the kitchen was beginning breakfast preparation. Not a nice alarm clock. This fan is loud. I needed a few more hours of sleep but it became clear that I was up for the day.
At check out the young receptionist asks if I had a good stay and so I tell her of my experience to which she replies without sympathy, I'll pass on the message. Seriously, you are going to pretend that you have never heard this complaint before? I paid $230 for the night and what I needed most I was not able to do, SLEEP. NOT impressed.
In summary, assuming the floors above me have the same numbering system, avoid 103, 104, 203, 204....etc because if you want to sleep and hope to do so with or without the windows open, either way, you will not be enjoying a peaceful, uninterrupted sleep. It's sad because I had the most comfortable bed and pillow of any hotel I ever stayed it and trust me after 24 years in the travel industry, I have stayed in many hotels. I will NOT be coming back.
I regret not having taken a picture of the industrial sized fan exhaust.
