A 59.5-square-kilometer park offering plant diversity, a wide range of activities and several types of accommodation.

Parc national du Mont-Orford (59.5 km²) offers diversity with its hardwood and maple forests, vast ponds, marshes and lakes, as well as mountains and hills. Outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted by a wide range of activities, in both summer and winter, in total harmony with nature.

There are two visitor centres in Parc national du Mont-Orford: the service center for the Lac-Stukely sector (chemin du Camping), and the Lac-Fraser sector (chemin Alfred-Desrochers then route 220 West). Check the park's website for seasonal opening hours.

Lodging: camping, ready-to-camp tents, Étoile ready-to-camp, Nova ready-to-camp, EXP cabins, Nature cabins, refuges, Jouvence resort.

Equipment rentals: watercraft (canoes, recreational kayaks, pedal boats, rowboats, paddleboards, etc.), standard bikes, double-suspension mountain bikes and fatbikes, cross-country skiing equipment, snowshoes, walking crampons, telescopic poles, children's sleds.

Activities: wildlife watching, supervised swimming, water sports, hiking and long-distance hiking on the Sentiers de l'Estrie, rock climbing, road biking, mountain biking, fatbike, golf (nearby), cross-country skiing (private or semi-private cross-country ski lessons also available), alpine hiking, snow hiking and snowshoeing. Snow sports at Mont Orford ski resort.

Le parc du Mont Orford est un endroit magnifique qui permet de pratiquer plusieurs activités. On peut y faire autant de la baignade, de la randonnée que du vélo. On peut également faire la location d'embarcations (kayak, canot, pédalo) à faible coût. Le parc offre des possibilités de camping ou de location de chalets. Bref, à moins de 2 heures de Montréal c'est le paradis.

Le PN du Mont-Orford est assez proche de Montréal, sur la Rive-Sud, à 1h environ de route. Le Mont Orford est une randonnée facile et accessible à tous, pour contempler au final un beau paysage du Québec. Recommandation : à faire en automne pour admirer les splendides couleurs.
