Le Bourg de Pabos offers a wide range of services and activities all in one place. The Parc du Bourg de Pabos contains the results of archaeological digs carried out in the 1980s. Our guides will show you the life of the fishermen of the most important French maritime seigneury to exploit resources on a commercial basis. A veritable open-air museum, several eras pass before your eyes. The site also offers a one-kilometre immersive seaside trail where history and new technologies meet, Ura: Celebrating Water, a true odyssey to the sources of life. Also worth mentioning is Fantöm: the Hunt, a brand-new activity where visitors will have to catch the spirits that have haunted the Bourg de Pabos for centuries and listen to their stories. Both tours are available day and evening.
Finally, there's also a campground offering serviced and unserviced sites, ready-to-camp trailers and a host of services (community hall with kitchenette, laundry facilities, convenience store, etc.) and activities (water games, volleyball, iron and petanque, special activities, etc.). Le Bourg de Pabos also provides access to beaches, trails and a restaurant offering family-style cuisine (5 à 7 formula with entertainment on Fridays from early July to mid-August). Ura: celebrating water
An odyssey to the sources of life
Ura plunges you into an adventure where the power of water takes on new meaning.
In Chandler, on the shores of the Bourg de Pabos, Lamia invites you on a water trail. This mysterious woman will hand you the keys to eight stations along the way.
Inside these stations, you'll have some astonishing experiences. You'll never see water in the same way again..
Interpretation center
Discover over 250 years of maritime seigniory history in an exceptional natural environment. The permanent exhibition of our open-air museum reveals the daily life of the inhabitants of the Grand Pabos seigneury in the 18th century. It retraces the major steps in the investigation by archaeologist Pierre Nadon, who was able to reconstruct our ancestors' way of life from the remains of our past.
Follow in the footsteps of these Gaspesian fishermen and discover the craze for dried salted cod and quiaude, a traditional Gaspesian soup coveted by connoisseurs.
Are you a person of action? The Animarchéo activity lets you take part in a fictional 30-minute archaeological dig led by one of our guides.

Since the campground is located near the Nova Lumina and Ura activities, the background music for both experiences is audible from most sites. This music plays from around 6 p.m. to 11.30 p.m., depending on the time of year.

Le camping en tant que tel est très bien: sanitaires propres et douches gratuites (pas de pression par contre). Accès facile à la plage. Terrains en semi-intimité. Pas trop dispendieux. Personnel accueillant.
Gros point négatif: Camping bruyant. À 2h, nous entendions des gens parler très fort. On ne peut dire si c'était des voyageurs ou saisonniers, mais notre nuit a été courte hihi
Pour le reste , ni aller pas si vous avez peur de ce qui sort du bois , parce que de tout coté y'a des gars qui passent sur le cote de vos tentes qu une.femme s'y change ou pas.
