CANADA'S BIRTHPLACE
Historical site such as a reconstruction of Gaspé at the beginning of the 20th century with various buildings, activities and shows on site.
Located on the shores of the bay, this historic site is a reconstruction of the village of Gaspé from the early 20th century. There are several buildings including a heritage house, an Amerindian longhouse, a warehouse, a naval base, a general store and a tavern, all animated by period characters. In front of it, it is impossible to miss the granite reproduction of the cross planted by Jacques Cartier when he arrived in 1534. Several activities on site and in town, such as a heritage trail and an evening multimedia show.
