Matane, a town in the Canadian province of Quebec, has a tourist information office to help visitors plan their stay. Services include assistance with accommodation reservations, a public telephone, Internet access, free outdoor parking, a picnic area and partial access for people with reduced mobility. Visitors can also visit the maritime museum and take a guided tour of the Matane lighthouse, as well as discover a new exhibition on the winter experience in the Chic-Chocs.
