Former flour mill specializing in mead, with information on the history of production and a glass beehive.

Housed in an old flour mill dating back to 1830, the place specializes in meads: dry, sweet, blueberry, raspberry, apple, pear and cuvée Divin Nectar (a limited edition of a tasty woody mead). Over the years, they have won numerous awards. On the first floor, you'll find practical information on the history of production and a glass beehive, as well as a wide variety of fine products from the hive (our favorite is mustard and honey vinaigrette). Regional products also on sale on site.

Le Vieux Moulin est situé dans une endroit féérique, dans un ancien moulin à eau. On élabore de façon artisanal les fabuleux vins de miel plusieurs fois médaillés d’or (Coupe des Nations, All Canadian Wine Championships, Finger Lakes International Wine Compétition). La boutique regorge de produits dérivés du miel. À l’étage supérieur vous avez accès à un Musée assez hétéroclite où on y retrouve de trésors du temps de la Nouvelle-France et d'artefacts exceptionnels des Premières Nations. À la boutique apicole, hydromels mousseux et tranquilles côtoient une vaste gamme de produits fins de la ruche. Ruche d'observation.

Difficile de le retrouver, il y a une petite pancarte sur la route mais un fois que l'on est devant, on ne peut pas le rater. La personne est très accueillante et les produits sont d'une diversité, je ne savais pas que l'on pouvait faire autant de choses avec du miel. il vous invite à déguster de l’hydromel et même à visiter un musée à l'étage qui regroupe d'anciens "vestiges" archéologiques.
