With its chic, uncluttered decor, lush greenery and panoramic views, the Auberge de l'Île enchantée pays tribute to NormaNde cuisine with creative dishes at reasonable prices. Chef Demenois works with his wife Catherine to offer a cuisine that's both traditional and innovative, where seasonal produce is king. We tried the Retour du Marché menu, and it was a delight! Don't forget to book upstairs, with its superb view over the River Orne.

La carte proposée était sans doute un peu trop « cuisine traditionnelle » à notre goût. Nous aurions eu du mal à nous aventurer en dehors du poisson (joues de bœuf ou caille pour le plat, ris de veau ou escargots pour les entrées) mais sur ce coup c’est tout à fait personnel.
