COSMODOME
Canada's leading museum of astronautics and space exploration, featuring animated scenarios.
The Cosmodôme is one of Laval's must-see attractions and a must-see for family outings. It's the only top-notch museum in Canada devoted entirely to astronautics and space exploration. It features animated scenarios representing three interactive virtual space missions (each lasting 60 minutes), as well as a permanent exhibition recounting the exploits and discoveries of space travelers, thanks to a collection of space conquest artifacts. Also on offer: temporary exhibitions, the 4D cinema with two short films offering a sensory and immersive experience, various astronaut training simulators and the Mission Cosmo activity.
For youngsters aged 9 to 15, space camp is a truly memorable experience. Over three days, they'll experience authentic astronaut training. They will spend two nights in a space module on site, and will be asked to carry out various missions during their stay. Training simulator trials and scientific workshops are also on the program. Meals and snacks are included in the program. Definitely a camp they won't soon forget! Day and winter break camps, parent-child camps, school programs, children's parties and team-building programs are also offered at the Cosmodôme.
