AUBERGE-MANOIR BELLEVUE

Escale de charme avec vue sur le Saint-Laurent.
Accueil très sympathique dans cette ancienne bâtisse en retrait de la route. Le manoir propose des chambres avec salle de bain commune et d'autres avec salle de bain privées, à savoir lors de la reservation. Nous en avions une avec vue sur le Saint-Laurent. Superbe lever de soleil. Le petit-déjeuner est servi dans une petite salle. Le service a été très agréable.

Escoumins turned out to Be surprised come our trip and Manor House, with its stupendous ocean views, the most charming place to stay. Personal The treated custom with the heat that is characteristic of the Manor House. The rooms are BASIC but clean. The advertised gastronomy is limited to a fine breakfast but there were several interesting restaurants within walking distance of the Bellevue. One our first night we thing local fish house where the food turned out to Be as large as the view of the bay. On the second, the Belgian restaurant that have At the foot of the Manor House: chocolate factory, bakery and most definitely has gastronomical delight. Before you late afternoon ferry we succumbed to the staff' S boasts for the "putin" hot dog stand At the end of the promenade (delicious enough for that standard fare but a bit heavy, as light lunches go). While in Escoumins we did the whale watching by zodiac, sea kayaking trip and visited Parks Canada's S Marine Mammal exhibition, included deep sea diving from the comfort of a viewing room where we were whitebait to sea and talk to the various, live. We strongly recommend Les Escoumins and Manor House with some of the ordinary vacationing.

In the setting of our trip to Québec, we stayed two nights in this inn from August 8th to August 10th. We were very surprised by the delivered lines, seem countryside with critics that we could read in the guides.



Indeed, the maintenance of the rooms is very limited: the rooms do not have a regular cleaning and we even had the surprise to find our not room the second day with the circumstances that we had not asked to make the room. Following our pretention, we just managed to cover new towels. Staff assured that it was a practice established by management and not an isolated oblivion, which features are particularly surprise.



Moreover, staff is a very limited and not very warm (both at the reception and breakfast) compared to what we generally noted in Québec (where, on the contrary, we widely appreciated the many offices that we could have on site). This location with slices singularly comment (probably old) we could become acquainted.



The breakfast room is not on the inns/hotels of the same tariff level as practised. Moreover, with our departure, we were take the first cross bar, which does not allow us to enjoy breakfast on site. Very pleasantly, it was offered to place at our free breakfast before our departure. Unfortunately, it was a orange juice and a chocolatine per person but the expiry date of the chocolatines was largely outdated...



Finally, it to us was designated a costs dao 99 per night + taxes, that is to say dao 109.49 per night. For two nights, it would have to correspond to dao 218.98. But it was charged us dao 228.01 without no justification being brought to us for these dao 9.03 additional.



In summary, an establishment lost certainly of its style compared to the comments various guides...
