Tiny chapel in Tadoussac, considered the oldest wooden chapel still existing in North America.
This tiny white wooden chapel with a red roof, called the "Indian Chapel", was built between 1747 and 1750 by Jesuit missionaries. It is considered to be the oldest wooden chapel still in existence in North America and is one of Tadoussac's most memorable photos. A small cemetery borders it on each side and, inside, the life of the missionaries in New France is presented in the form of an exhibition.
