NOTRE-DAME-DU-CAP SHRINE
The third place of pilgrimage dedicated to the Virgin Mary, one of the most imposing of the country in Trois-Rivières.
It is the 3rd pilgrimage site in Quebec, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The basilica is renowned for its organ, one of the most imposing in the country, but above all for its stained glass windows with superb colours, works by Jan Tillemans (1915-1980), an Oblate father of Dutch origin, who made them in the medieval tradition from 1956 to 1964. Next to the basilica, visit the small sanctuary, the old church from 1714 which is also the oldest stone chapel in Quebec.
