FLOTEL
Eco-responsible floating hotel on the waters of the bay of Lake Saint-François with terraces and the necessary facilities
With its eco-responsible and entirely self-sufficient concept, this is the very first floating hotel in the province, resting on the waters of the bay of Lake Saint-François. The company recycled containers and the result is mind-blowing: abundant windows, a private terrace with outdoor seating and lake access, a communal rooftop terrace, and all the amenities you need for an ultra-cozy stay. The icing on the cake: you can sleep here in both summer and winter! Other Flotels have dropped anchor in the Richelieu Valley.

Located on the Old Canal of Beauharnois, I have easy access to groceries, restaurants, shops and a Tim Horton’s! It’s a great town to walk, bike, kayak. You could even do an ice bath off your deck!
The accommodations are small, but if you’re looking to experience tiny living, this is a great opportunity! The designers have creatively utilized every space to deliver a mood at every turn. I love that when I walk in, the first thing I see is the water and deck through the sliding glass doors. I love that the bathroom is spacious but gives me everything I need. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the coziness of the bed and the sliding glass doors a step and a glance away. But the real treat is the deck with my own personal fireplace! The deck benches are inviting and comfortable. I could literally sit out here all day, read a book, watch the ducks, listen to the rain and be perfectly content.
Going forward, any time I’m in Montreal, I’ll be at the Flotel!
