WACHIYA
Handmade objects and clothing from the Cree native community. A boutique that promotes and protects traditional know-how.
A Native arts and crafts boutique in Eeyou Istchee owned by community members. Jewelry, wood carvings, gloves, hats, moccasins, knives... Magnificent handcrafted objects that tell the story of the know-how and culture of Quebec, past and present. The mission of this boutique, which is also online, is to preserve and promote the traditional art of the Cree community. Artisans are fairly remunerated and their work is valued.
