KHYBER PASS
From the name of the famous mountain crossing connecting the provinces of Jalalabad and Peshawar, the only Afghan restaurant in town can discover the country's culinary traditions at the junction of Asia and the Middle East. The décor is charming and typical, and traditional music and music reinforce the promise of a light and delicately spicy menu. Delicious ashaks (stuffed pasta stuffed with leeks, with tomato sauce, garlic yogurt and ground beef), classic palaw palaw (basmati rice with lamb or chicken, dried grapes and julienne carrots), kofta chalaw (ground beef boulettes with tomato sauce and Afghan spices) and excellent kababs. Desserts are in pink water, and hot green tea accompanies all dishes.
