LA BRUME DANS MES LUNETTES
This coffee does not only have a bold name with poetic surrounds. No, La Brume - as it also accepts to be called - is one of the nicest gourmet landmarks in the area. In summer, the terrace is shaded on the street. In winter, we squat on the benches near the windows to watch the snow. At all times, people spend hours there reading or working. Or even better: we come for Afternoon tea, served all day long. We choose the total experience with "Her Majesty the Queen": cucumber sandwiches, mini bags with smoked salmon, ricotta puffs, prosciutto, candied pears and onions, scones, jam and fresh cream, butter and lemon tarts, madeleines. There you go. That's all said and done. Oh no, La Brume is known for its scones and sells them all over Quebec. That's nice.
