Housed in a former presbytery in the Little Burgundy district, Candide is the address of chef John Winter Russell. The concept is simple: a fixed-price menu every evening, including two starters, a choice between two main courses and a dessert or cheese, all varying according to the inspiration of the moment, the season and what's available. Fine food, a warm welcome, pretty, airy premises, a charming, tranquil terrace and an open kitchen where you can watch the cooks at work. A gourmet evening guaranteed.

C’est un de mes restaurants favoris à Montréal. Le chef John Winter-Russell a fait le choix de cuisiner que des produits locaux (du Québec, de l’Ontario et des provinces maritimes). Vous allez goûté alors une belle inventive cuisine selon la saison en formule de table d’hôtes (45-50$) de 4 services avec deux choix d’entrée et de plats principaux. Laissez aller et faites confiance au chef.

Service attentionné. Menu dégustation 4 services pour 55$ intéressant, mais limite dans les choix et il n’est pas possible de rien substituer. Ainsi vaut mieux vérifier le menu du mois à l’avance. Choix de vins locaux.
