My brother and I, along with some friends, stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal for five nights when the World Figure Skating Championships were in town, and the experience was first rate all the way.

From the minute we checked in, we were received so warmly by everyone at the hotel. And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond.

As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.

The Palm Court Afternoon Tea at the Ritz-Carlton.

Wow Montreal this modern Ritz hotel with a Euro twist and superb location was a great experience during the month of May. The staff are incredibly helpful, rooms are well-appointed, bed is super comfortable with lovely pillows and HTC linens. Bathrooms are lovely. The box of candy and treats upon arrival were second to none. Room service brings hot food and the roof top pool and deck is perfect for lounging and reading a good book. We dined at Maison Boulard usually twice a day and it was exceptional - service, food, atmosphere all 10 stars. Our servers were so helpful since I wanted to bring home French macaroons as gifts and had them ready for our departure day. C'est tres magnifique! We look forward to our return!

Cant beat the Ritz-Carlton. Downtown central, great location for shopping and sightseeing, everything wonderful about montreal is a small walk, staff and service you will find none better and after a hard day being a tourist, one can only enjoy your comfortable surroundings, cocktails and champagne with friends, thank you ritz carlton, until we return again

Après une visite planifiée au Musée des Beaux Arts, nous nous sommes arrêtés au Ritz pour un verre. Notre premier contact fut avec Carl le portier qui doit avoir comme nom de famille Charismatique! Quelle politesse et quel sourire. Tout le personnel du bar était aussi de cet acabit. Excellent arrêt improvisé!

This is my favorite place to stay in Montreal. Veronica is an absolute pleasure as she always accommodates and recommends the best of Montreal. Truly my favorite place to visit

Pleasant and professional service, very friendly and welcoming. Suites are good sized; furniture and hardware is good quality and functional. Location is convenient, veryvclose to shopping district, art museum and universiity. Very clean bathroom, bedsheets/pillows and towels.

Staycation at the Ritz Carlton Montreal.The most welcoming Greeting from Irene who checked me in quickly,walked me to the elevator and guided me to my room floor 1 king junior suite.The Room was very spacious with a king bed, living room style section, seats 6 people and an elegant pink Victoria king chair.Flat screen TV that is movable to watch in bed.Let's talk about the bathroom, Diptyque shampoo,conditioner,gel wash and body lotion to keep you smelling fresh and feel like you're in some floral fresh garden in Paris.The bathroom also included exclusive L'Occitane products such as their signature Luffa,and toiletrie accessories.The bathroom towels were headed and the toilette had its own IPAD with self clean features to you wash your "derrière" .The spacious... and I repeat spacious shower easily holds 6 people. Had a rain fall and moveable shower head.The bathrobes...I used the mens lol plus size girl here, was so comfy..i would have stayed in the robe all day.Best thing you get to keep the slippers...yayyy!I love hotel slippers.A separate little walk- in room to hold your luggage and jackets,iron board and also spacious.A buffet console housed the coffee nespresso station with their signature teas.Did you know you can have afternoon tea at the Ritz? It's a must experience you will love!We grabbed a bite to eat at the Palm Court.Recommend making a reservation.It can fill up fast.I tried the French onion soup....yummy! The By far best Chicken Cesar Salad I have ever had in my life! I'm not kidding and 4 cheese Pizza.For desert I had peacan pie with creamy vanilla Bean ice cream.The waiters, yes I say waiters..we had 3 people serving us.Talk about service.In the end we finished our meal with a wonderful tastey café au lait.I could have had 4 but then I wouldn't sleep in the comfy bed.The Ritz has a pool.I didn't use it,but good news if you forget your bathing suit they have biodégradables to sell.Check out was at 11am,Alina was very quick to check me out.Thank you for the sweet treat to take home.A Special Thank You to Katia P for arranging my stay & making this an Experience i will tressure for the rest of my life.For those reading my post.I Hope your stay is as wonderful & memorable as mine was.A check off my bucket list for sure.Now...

Afternoon tea is an experience that must be tried !

Food is amazing and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Brought a friend here for her birthday and everything we tried was great from the tea to the dishes

What a beautiful place. We had afternoon tea, so I cannot rate the rooms, but I'm sure they are magnificent! Amazing service, good food.

A 5-star experience all the way! My lovely partner booked a room at the Ritz for my birthday, and they treated us like royalty ????????????????. I felt special all weekend! Rose petals on the bed, complimentary desserts, just top notch service! Thank you to all the teams from room service to housekeeping (cute touches like organizing my products with a fancy cloth underneath) to amazing service at Palm Court and Maison Boulud. I will never forget this! Merci ! ????????????

Nothing compares to the elegance and luxury of the Ritz Cartlon of Montreal. The hotel makes you feel as though you are living a dream. Had a wonderful experience.

Super cool property.

Stayed for my birthday weekend and the service was top notch. The service is unmatched as they went above and beyond. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They had decorated the room for my birthday and had given us Prosecco and cake with a note.
The rooms were very clean and room service is excellent along with other amenities.
Definitely recommend staying here.
