Located in the heart of downtown, a stone's throw from McGill University, Mount Royal and the metro, this guesthouse is an excellent base for exploring Montreal, and at an attractive price. Its rooms can comfortably accommodate two to four people, depending on the unit, in a well-preserved historic setting. An on-site café is open daily to satisfy your caffeine and gourmet cravings, and there's also a terrace area where you can savour all that this place has to offer.

The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, each displaying an admirable attention to detail. The central location places you within walking distance of many of Montreal's must-see attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet the ambiance within is peaceful and serene.
The hospitality at Ambrose House is where it truly shines. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, whether it's providing local recommendations or accommodating special requests. Their dedication to guests' satisfaction is evident in every interaction.
In essence, Ambrose House offers a blend of comfort, location, and superior service that makes it a delightful place to stay when in Montreal. It personifies the city's unique blend of history and modernity in the most inviting way.
Reception was kind and helpful. Communication with them around the reservation was easy and prompt.
Location is a 10 minute walk from Bell Center in a lovely part of the city.
They have a very small limited space parking lot which you have to reserve, if they have any spaces available, be aware of that. Failing spaces tho, it is fairly easy to find a spot on the street, we were able to find one just 2 blocks down the street during F1 racing weekend.
