Founded in 1951 in what is now part of the Quartier des spectacles, the TNM is one of the city's most renowned theaters. It produces and presents major works from the national and international repertoires, from Molière to Koltès, from Shakespeare to Michel Tremblay, with a strong emphasis on creation. And after three years of renovation, new spaces were inaugurated at the end of 2024, including the Salle Réjean-Ducharme for new and emerging artists, as well as a foyer for various gatherings.
