HORIZON COSMOPOLITE

Founded in 1997, Cosmopolitan Horizon is a so-called flexible Quebec organisation for «  facilitate volunteerism and dialogue among   peoples». The association works on the premises with local development ngos (agriculture, microcredit, health, environment…) and proposes two formulas on the basis of volunteering and involvement in a community. Cosmopolitan offers alternatives and supports local development of host communities.

What do they propose  ? More than 25 projects in countries, in areas of environment, social and community work, education, child labour, health, wildlife protection, etc.

Where  ? In Canada from 14 years of age and in the rest of the world: many destinations in Latin America, Asia, Africa, Europe.

Prices and conditions. The training provided by the Cosmopolitan Horizon is compulsory. Participants must purchase their airline ticket at the Cosmopolitan Horizon.
