BANQ - LARGE LIBRARY
More than four million documents, including more than two million books, are freely accessible. The library brings together two major collections, including the National Collection, which includes everything published in Quebec, everything published about Quebec elsewhere in the world, and all publications in which at least one of the creators is a Quebecer, since the time of New France. This impressive heritage is available for free consultation. The layout of the reading rooms has been designed so that everyone can enjoy the calm and optimal light. The upper floors, with their large bay windows, offer several beautiful views of the city centre. An auditorium, a conference centre and exhibition rooms continuously animate the premises. Between the study of two books, you can visit an exhibition, meet writers, attend a debate or learn a new language.
