Château built between 1915 and 1918 by brothers Oscar and Marius Dufresne, now a museum and historic heritage site.
Classified as a historic monument since 1976, Château Dufresne was built between 1915 and 1918 by brothers Oscar and Marius Dufresne. Its French Beaux-Arts architecture was directly inspired by the Petit Trianon in Versailles. Once home to Quebec's first Musée national d'art contemporain, the château is now a museum and historic heritage site featuring a permanent exhibition and interesting temporary exhibits (see website). Please note that guided tours are offered at 1 p.m. on weekends.
