Biodome that appeals to the senses and offers visitors another vision of their ecosystems in Montreal.
In this completely unique "Space for Life", the most extraordinary ecosystems of the Americas have been reconstituted: the Gulf and estuary of the St. Lawrence, the maple grove of the Laurentians, the tropical rainforest, and even the sub-polar regions of the Labrador coast and the sub-Antarctic islands. The idea is to make the population aware of the precariousness of our environment with a view to preserving biodiversity and adopting responsible behaviour. Highly appreciated in all seasons, we recommend the "experience" of a visit to the rainforest in the middle of winter. This ecosystem full of amphibians, reptiles, birds and fish in heavenly colors is a real culture shock, in addition to making you forget the cold outside. The "Space for Life" passport gives you access to the other four museums at an attractive price.
The Montreal Biodome has undergone a major renovation. Its reopening took place with great fanfare at the end of August 2020 with, among other things, a new and highly anticipated feature: the Migration project, whose scenography is based on immersive, interactive and innovative experiences. The objective: to appeal to the senses and offer visitors another vision of their ecosystems, all enhanced with bold experiences. And it's a great success! Also on site: souvenir store and gourmet counter entirely vegetarian and vegan.
