YOUVILLE'S MOTHER'S HOUSE
CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR WORK, Youville's Mother House is no longer available to the public. The walls of 1693, the time adjustments and the halls of the permanent exhibition "Walking in its Steps" trace the history of the Charon Brothers and Marguerite of Youville, founder of the Congregation of the Gray Sisters. The visit of this "Maison de Charity", inhabited by the Mother of Youville and the Gray Sisters in 1747, is provided by the religious. The furniture at the time remained intact. The whole life of this "house" has been reconstituted. Visits are free, but donations are always welcome, especially since these exceptional women continue to help the most disadvantaged. We also owe them Accueil Bonneau.
