Located in the heart of Little Italy, this is one of Montreal's oldest public markets. It is distinguished by its gathering of local fruit and vegetable producers and by the diversified offer of its many shopkeepers, located in the central building as well as around the perimeter. The bustle is constant, summer and winter alike. Not only fruits and vegetables, but also flowers, spices, oils, cheeses, meats, fish, baked goods and more, not to mention the Marché des Saveurs du Québec.

Ce marché est à faire ! Il est grand, donc le choix est immense et les prix plus que correctes (moins chers que dans les supermarchés en tout cas). Cela permet de rencontrer les producteurs locaux en plus.

Mon logement était à deux pas du Marché Jean Talon ! Et quelle bonne surprise ! Des produits locaux de qualité, on peut y faire ces courses, mais également manger sur place, les pizzas y sont excellentes ! J'en ai profité aussi pour acheté du beurre et du sirop d'érable, vous avez même le droit aux dégustations. un endroit qui divertira vos papilles !!
